New Catch

As I learned from the German wikipedia homepage today is the birthday of Carl Djerassi (dt., eng.), chemist, playwright and “mother of the pill”. He turns 85 now: Happy Birthday, Carl!
Rummaging through the articles I found a link to something called “Peoples Archive”. I find it a very interesting auto-biographical site where women and men tell about their lives. Among others Benoit Mandelbrod can be found. The accent lies on mathematicians and people of the natural sciences, saw no historian yet. Now I have a good reason to repair the speakers (besides Old Knudsen singing of course).
Peoples Archive, worth a glimpse.

  1. And potentially hearing Proxima’s voice!I’m thinking about creating my own internet radio site. I’m a Storyteller first, writer second. While I try to write my voice, a lot still gets missed. My lilt has soothed many a wild beasts.

  2. Great site! I hope it’s not only for “famous” people. There are many professionals who are very good at what they do, but are not very widely known. I’d love to hear their story too.
