Meme mood

I am in a meme-mood tonight. I ripped it from Lily Strange.

1. First thing you wash in the shower?

My face. Actual I am more in love with my bath tub.

2. What color is your favorite hoodie?

What is a hoodie?

Yes. And I will.

My clothes? There is not too much to plan about. You’ll never see me in white socks, crocks or sandals and I do not wear black. If I had enough money I would buy some suits … yes, there is vanity.

Tired. Slightly optimistic.

6. Whats the closest thing to you that’s red?

That sheet of “Moosgummi” I put under my mouse.

I prefer a spoon. But I “bite” off from a cone with my lips.

15. Do you like your hair?

I know myself. And some parts i like, others I try to hide and jail.

17. Would you go out to eat with George W. Bush?

Yes. I would try to have a real conversation with him, could be interesting.

18.What are you listening to right now?

The noise of this computer. Actually I do listen to a classic station while driving and while working. But sadly they bring on all that Wagner right now – it’s “Festspiel”-time – and I really do not like it. I enjoy Jazz more and more, especially female voices. Classical guitar and lute is always a favorite.

My parents are dead. They were not really strict. Only in the years after my father’s death I realized how much of him is in me.

Yes. Grandpa-edition.

30. Do you use chap stick?

I am not sure what that is. If you refer to this cream for lips – no, never. I do not like to smear something on my lips or around my mouth, unguentum is for wounds and my mouth is no wound.

32. Can you use chop sticks?

Yes, but I prefer the spoon.

33. Who are you going to be with tonight?

34. Are you too forgiving?

Maybe. But I have a characterial flaw, I do not forget. At least things from a certain level onwards I am unable to forget. And there is above mentioned point of no return. So my reaction can come as a surprise.

I can not remember. Some obscure music maybe or a cd-based lexicon.

49. Do looks matter?

In a way yes. I know how I look (like something ready to strangle you) and a smile works wonders. Attractivity is an interesting cultural based issue. And I know that I react differently when the person in front of me is “good”-looking in my eyes. It is something to be reckoned with.

I do not believe so.

I do not have a tv for some years and I do not miss that stupid machine.

63. Do you have a job?

I earn money by a job that slowly kills me. My profession is to be a “Kulturwissenschaftler” and I clinge to it. 1. Well, that was fun. 🙂

I understand your feelings about the TV – I didn’t have one when I lived alone, either. But right next to the trash you’ll find films which are more than worth the time and trouble. Like a good book their beauty and insights can stay with you for years.

So I hope you’ll reconsider one day and if you do let me know, I have some recommendations!

  2. I like a good meme. With your permission I shall lift it and use it on my blog (with my answers, no use copying yours).

It’s great getting to know you.

Maybe you are a little curious …

Man – yes, slowly but steadily I become a man.

Mistress, it always depends on the person who gives them orders. As with many things, it takes two …

Yes, and I am thankful for that. But you are visiting. I thought about some mobiliar or a disco-ball. I still hope that I one day will have the chance to buy an illuminated gondola I remember having seen as a child. Very impressive.

Thank you. This act of violence is years ago, but I can still remember the feeling. Interesting, I’ll have to think about this.

Nice to see that you liked it. Recommendations for films are always welcome! I seriously doubt that I’ll have a tv again, but I learned that there is something like home-cinema today.

Just use it, I stole it from Lily. I’ll be eager for your answers. 🙂

  4. Nimh Nimh Niroo says:

Question 24. The sparkly thing in the room is you. 🙂

Maybe I will do an edited version of this meme. It has been a long time and they are quick and easy, but this one is too long and there is no logic to the questioning. I think it must have been manipulated by different people. My guess, three different people or one person with three split personalitites. Ha,ha,ha

The response to the question about “forgiveness”. I get that. I am the same way.

  5. Thanks for sharing more of yourself. Do I read into your responses that you have a love interest in your life?

How do you get the U with two dots over it in blogger?

  6. i love your answers, sugar! a little peek at a friend…,i.and now julie andrews is singing inside my head: getting to know you, getting to know all about youuuuuuuu ;~D xoxox

  7. I don’t mind Muesli, but most animal innards are vile. Heart is the exception. What does it say about me that I ate something’s heart and liked it?
My job is slowly or not so slowly killing me too. My supervisor just does not get that if she keeps me on my current schedule I’m going to end up in the E.R. either from having a mental breakdown or driving into a ditch.

  8. Nimh
    Na, it’s Scarlet!

And – ? Did it work?

The dotted aou are on my German keyboard. If you want to create these symbols (or others f.e. French or Polish symbols) use the ASCII-code. This computer stoneage but it never changed and if you find an ascii-code-list just use it and enjoy. What do you mean by “love interest”?

Julie Andrews? One of the Andrew-Sisters?

Müsli in a bowl with milk … “You want to eat that or did you already eat it?” August will be really hard because Mr. Arbuckle decided to be ill (he’s just lazy and will get the boot), another colleague will see the op and at least one is on vacancy. If I can sleep in that ditch …
