And because I need to stick to a kind of timetable (at least loosely; deadlines were invented by a drunk and angry demigod – who needs them ?!) a colleague will join me in the bookmines and we will work through the weekend. So I will return to this place, my appartement and my blog, sometimes around the 20th. Then there will be rest.
Take care, keep your cool. Here is La fille aux cheveux de lin / The Girl with the Flaxen Hair (Eng., poem) by DEBUSSY (Ger., Eng.) performed by the Boston Pops (Eng.) under John WILLIAMS (Ger., Eng.) – hope you enjoy it.
Keep snugly warm in the igloo mines!
Sx
stay warm, sugar! we’ll see you when we see you! xoxoxoxox
Apparently your snow is headed in our direction…. roll on the summer holidays hey?
Coincidentally, the DEADLINE for the Infomaniac “Deck Your Balls” event is December 20th.
That will make it easier for you to remember!
Gut glück in der Buchminen!
Wishing you a warm & cosy time in the mines.
It looks frightfully cold Mr Maggs. Make sure that you are well rugged up! I’ve always loved this bit of music,,,,
I like Joshua Bell’s (Violin) version of this song too. Do stay warm my friend. I hope you have good conversations with the collegue you will be working with. A good conversation is always my favorite gift!
Take care,
Proxima/Melanie

Greetings from the Netherworld. It’s late or early and I’m mentally worthless.
