Sunday Music

On Sundays ! On a beautiful autumn day with autumnal colours, a blue sky, still warm temperatures. Such a day is made for a walk outside, climb up a hill, and look over the land. A breeze lets the windmills spin, time to fly a kite. I wonder where mine is, a very simple one I got as a kid.
I feel better today, stronger, I have to be careful still. Next week we’ll work only three days, very nice prospect.
Today I looked at various news sites, but turned around in disgust. I think it is time for a news diet. It is simply not necessary to follow the Anglo-American meltdown closely and watch any ugly detail. The national news here is not much better with a traditional bourgeoise party evaporating right before our eyes (the SPD reaches in some areas less than ten percent) while the fascist fraction grows and establishes itself.
I do not know if there is really more stupidity and brutality than in earlier days, or if I simply became more touchy ? It is fruitless to speculate.
Let us turn towards nice things, like good music : The French guitarist René BARTOLI (about) plays three (short) pieces composed by Ernest SHAND (Eng.).
I hope you like the music. May the coming week be peaceful & filled with joy.

I think it just gets repetitive, and therefore mind numbing.
    Here’s to a no-news week!!
    Sx

  2. I want to be aware of the world, I need intelligent people to tell me how things are unfolding, especially in the wider arena.
But, as you say, it seems horrid people are SHOUTING THEIR OPINIONS, drowning those whose views differ.
And both seem to be missing the major point.
But I am cheered by the fact that some friends are still very witty. A friend in England says his favourite oxymoron is now “fucking wankers.”
    It made me laugh,
And the music makes me feel calm. Thank you.
