Sunday Music

I still feel small, old, and a bit shaky. But not that old, small & shaky as I felt on Fryday afternoon, when I finally was allowed to park the vehicle. My condition prohibited me from travelling to Suebia – and I hate this with every fibre of my heart. Next weekend I will definitely visit Schwabenland, it is crap (sorry) to be alone.
The German sovereign spoke today, the result will be known tomorrow. It seems to be a close run between both big parties, in the end a coalition will be formed, as usual.
Today’s Sunday Music is a little piece titled Berceuse (Ger., Eng.), composed by Germaine TAILLEFERRE (1892-1983) (Ger., Eng.) in 1913, when she was twenty one years young. We hear Massimo MARIN (about) on violin, and Cristina ARIAGNO (about) on piano.
I hope you enjoy the music. May the coming week be peaceful.

  1. Heya, Scarlet! I cannot find your blog for love nor money. Now Mr. Mago: there are worse things than not entering Swabia. Peeing on your electrical conduit to find out if it’s live is one of those things. Thanks for the hint, NOT. *still burning*

  2. OO – in answer to one of your replies, here’s the video for what was a VERY controversial song back in the Eighties: Frankie Goes To Hollywood – Relax

  3. I like the music although the piano sounds overly “forced” (sorry I don’t know the musical term for it) if them smoothed out the piano chords I would like it much more. Maybe if you stand next to an ant hill you will feel bigger. Do you have ant hills in Germany? Where I grew up on the Eastern side of the state we could get some really impressive ant hills nearly the size of a small toddler! What if you lay on the bed and stretch out like your on that old torture device called a “rack” then you’ll surely feel tall again, just don’t stand up too fast afterwards.

I hope next week treats you better!

  4. I am growing dear MsScarlet

I feel the tension, an electric blue fungus takes over, and discovers Holywood …

I could dig meself into an ant hill Melanie, that has the potential to solve problems.
BTW I do not know this person all together, who obviously lives by the motto “Pee Dangerously !”
