“Hi guys, thank you very much for your concern. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw that my blog was removed, just 5 minutes ago, but I’m back.
I got a message from google saying I should give them my cell phone number to get a verification code.
After introducing the code, i got a warning saying this (I’m literally translating from Spanish):
“Some readers of this blog have contacted Google because they consider its contents as doubtful. Google normally neither reviews nor approves the contents of this one or any other blog. To obtain more information related to the contents policy, visit Blogger’s Terms of Service.”
And then there are 2 buttons, one saying “I understand and wish to ocntinue” or “I don’t wish to continue”.
Not just this: all my comments to my readerships have been deleted from my blog. WHY???
This is pure and simply PURITAN CENSORSHIP. Those who have visited my blog know that the stories I have posted there since 2007 wouldn’t offend anyone.
I’m seriously considering to complain to Google and move to another blogging platform. I absolutely disagree with this kind of policy and performance. Not even a warning, and they can delete everything. This has a name and it’s HYPOCRISY and ABUSE.
MJ’s case is even worse, she hasn’t even had the chance to get the bloody code to recover her blog and 4 years of blogging and commenting are gone up in smoke.
If only they would have warned her about their intentions, maybe she would still be in the blogosphere.
So my blog is now back. The only difference is now you will get the adult content message.
Just in case you got too many visits from the googlebot and a comment from some SOB ultrachristian called Steve Finnell, who commented on the meme that Mago and XL did last week, invited me to follow his blog… take care: your blog can be deleted.”

What a situation. I want my comments back. I’m going to send a ccomplain letter to Google for all this. I’m not sure this is legal. And they’ll probably throw it to the round file, but I have to complain and shout at them.
I’m sending a big hug to MJ. For some minutes I have known how she must be feeling now. VIOLATED.

What I do not understand is why they execute their online-killing without warning. And how dare google to simply wipe out parts of the conversations I have with people?
I really hope they did this on a large scale, all over the world, – and get kicked in the arse for their abuse of power!

Thanks, Leni. It’s annoying that you had to go through this too but I’m glad your blog is back.
I also get this message when I try to access my Gmail account…
“To immediately restore access to your account, enter your mobile phone number below, and we’ll send you a text message with a verification code.”
But I don’t wish to give them my cell phone number because they never had it in the first place. I don’t choose to give them my cell phone number because it is private. And probably it would result in them telling me the same thing it told you about someone considering my content “doubtful”. So I might not get my blog back anyway.
As mentioned previously, I am about to have a very busy June through October, if not right up ’til the end of the year. Fixing this can’t be a priority for me right now. But creating a new blog in the new year WILL be a priority if my old blog isn’t recovered.

I don’t think they can do this legally and I’m so pissed off that I’m going to complain about it and find out what the performance and Terms of Service are in other blogging sites. Maybe it’s worthless, but I feel I have to do it, as a matter of principles.
I’m very sad that you decided not to get your blog back. But I’m counting the days to the new year. ;) Cheer up, we miss you.
