Sunday Music

Here we are. I was busily travelling hence & forth, taking care of things, and learning new stuff : You can never use enough of this pump-spray-desinfectant. Just let it work for a minute or more, wipe carefully, then seal the wound with the sticky sterile stuff. And yeah, do not press too hard, after all it’s NOT sellotape. Just aim right, that’s important. Anything else will lead to a premature rip off, once a day is enough.
Now let’s foxtrot gently over Summit Ridge Drive with Artie SHAW and his Gramercy 5 (1941). I hope you like the music. May the coming week be carefree for all of us – just do not overdo what ever you do.

  1. Nurse Mago is it? I hope you don’t have to assume this role for too long.

My mom always thought I should have become a nurse and so would have me remove any family members stitches to save money instead of going back to the doctor’s office and have to pay the office fee to have them removed. I don’t like it when my practical nature is manipulated in such a way.

I hope you have a peaceful week!

  2. ‘For external use only’ is also an important guideline to take seriously. That, and ‘Avoid open flames.’ Don’t ask how I know this.

  3. I bet nurse Mago has a lovely bedside manner, the same can’t be said of my maid of all work Carmen, who has been attending to my needs with huffs and puffs. I sit with a tartan blanket over my knees, as I recover from a chest infection, one morning she brought me a fruits of the forest yoghurt when she knows I only eat Greek natural and then she had the temerity to complain when I lobbed it at her head.

  4. I acquired one of those Cuts of Mystery whilst moving into my new flat last weekend. All of a sudden I noticed blood coming from the side of my fingernail. Strange how you don’t notice the pain sometimes.

Your Swabian women’s accents sound as they produce the effect that some Scottish accents can have on me. Glasgow can be quite harsh and latently aggressive. Of course, they’re no more aggressive than people from other parts of the country, but one has to keep telling oneself that as one hears the volley of their speech.Hope you have fun times at the parish council!

  5. Yes, nurse Mago, at least for some time, Melanie. The last week was peaceful, now let’s hope it continues that way.

Ahem, is there some innuendo involved, IDV ?

You still have your eyebrows FN ?
Lighter and spraycan = poor man’s flame thrower.

“Way to go Carmen” is all I can say. I am a well-trained nurse now. Time for your tea infusion Mitzi, just relax.

Another flat ? Goodness Loobystabilitas loci and all that – ? I always thought they smile the whole day in Glasgow ?

Just SAY it for heaven's sake ...
